About YMCA WA Training

YMCA WA is an official campus of the Australian YMCA Institute of Education and Training who are a Nationally Recognised Training Organisation (RTO) (registration number 3979). We provide a range of nationally accredited and non-accredited training programs that are delivered by industry experts working within our service divisions. Therefore our instructors possess an extensive and modern understanding of all course content.

We provide opportunities for young people to grow through the delivery of training that is both of high quality and standard.

Students of YMCA WA Training benefit from a range of additional training features including:

  • Support via phone, email, discussion forums, worksite visits and tuition.
  • The option to work at your own pace to complete the qualification.
  • Recognition of prior learning and skills.
  • A mentor to help you through your qualification.
  • Flexible interest free payment options.

We provide opportunities in the following areas:

a.    VET in Schools - Vocational Education and Training (VET) in Schools are programmes undertaken by school students as part of the senior secondary certificate that provide credit towards a nationally recognised VET qualification within the Australian Qualifications Framework.
b.    Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - This is the required qualification for trainers and assessors delivering training or conducting assessments under the Australian Quality Training Framework. If you are currently, or looking to, deliver training and assessment services in the vocational education and training (VET) sector then you will need to have obtained this qualification.
c.    First Aid – The YMCA provide a number of different first aid courses to meet your needs.
d.    Business – The YMCA can provide qualifications within business up to Diploma level.
e.    Family Services – The YMCA can provide qualifications in Children Services to Diploma level.

Also coming in 2017 is the opportunity to attend Professional Development sessions in the area of Children Services and Youth Services... so stay tuned.

Fees and Charges

The student tuition fees are indicative only and are subject to change given individual circumstances at enrolment. Additional fees may apply such as student service and resource fees.
